Every year, Aleph sends out 40,000 pounds of food to prisons across the country and military bases around the world. But this year, due to the economic crisis, Aleph's Pesach program is in serious jeopardy. Aleph may be forced to cut even the bare minimums we send for Passover to these individuals. Vendors are not extending credit. So we either get the money and send the food or we don't... Unfortunately, it's as simple as that.
